Eventually, Jud proves to himself he isn’t a screw-up, using his alleged wit to defeat both Sinestro and the massive Pikachu. Jud later demonstrates he is worthy of his ring when he bravely defends his family's store during a riot inadvertently caused by Sinestro. While Earth is subjugated under Sinestro, the alien Tchk-Tchkii have amassed into a yellow robot (and later, a yellow asteroid … and later still, a massive Pikachu) and are heading for the planet. We learn in the finale he’s the one who manipulated Abin Sur’s signal, forcing it to locate a bumbling human like Jud. The big reveal is that Sinestro was always responsible for Jud becoming this Lantern. ![]()
